Awards of Group «Magnezit» at the exhibition «Metal – Expo – 2006»
For the professional presentation of its products and services at the international exhibition «Metal-Expo-2006» Magnezit Group was awarded with a Diploma and a memorable cup «For the best exposition at «Metal-Expo-2006». Besides within the framework of competition of projects for modernization of operating equipment, for development and introduction of new technologies, equipment and metal products Magnezit Group was awarded with the Silver medal and Diploma of Laureate of this international specialized exhibition.
Center for Technological Developments presented for competition two developments. One of them — «Organization of industrial-scale production of materials for adjustment of slag composition in converters». The materials in question are: ferruginous magnesia flux (ÔOM grade), carbon and iron containing briquitted magnesia flux (ÔÌÁÓÆ grade), self-destroying magnesia granules. Steel making flux produced at Kombinat Magnezit JSC which makes part of Magnezit Group received Diploma of first grade and the Golden medal at the exhibition -congress «High technologies, innovations, investments» which was held in Saint-Petersburg in 2005. Invention «Magnesia composition modifier of metallurgical slag» was awarded with a Bronze medal of the V-th International salon of innovations and investments in 2006.
The second development of the Center for technological developments is «Organization of industrial-scale production of magnesia mass „Martenit“ for ramming and repairs of steel making furnaces linings.» This work was awarded with Diploma of the V-th International salon for innovations and investments in 2006. Products presented for competition within the framework of this development are periclase calcareous ferruginous clinker of «Martenit» grade.
Last year Magnezit Group Ltd.was awarded at the exhibition «Metal-Expo» with a Diploma and memorable present «For the best exposition and organization of work at the exhibition».
Today Magnezit Group Ltd. presented shaped and unshaped refractory and thermal-insulating materials for various thermal units, showed possibilities in the field of complete deliveries of refractories for blast and open-hearth furnaces, for converters, electric arc furnaces, steel-teeming ladles and tundishes, continuous casting machines for casting of steel billets and also for furnaces of non-ferrous metallurgy.
